The clerk said the lottery terminal was frozen,” Mary Jo recalled, while visiting the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto. “I saw the words ‘BIG SPIN’ on the screen and started shaking. I couldn’t process what that meant! Everything the clerk said to me was met with my response of ‘What?’ I kept thinking, ‘This can’t be real!’”

“Even though there were so many unknowns, my husband and I were so excited! It was like we were a couple of teenagers,” Mary Jo laughed.

“The experience was incredible,” said Mary Jo, reflecting on her BIG SPIN event. “It was surprising to see the studio and the wheel setup. That’s when it really began to feel real! I was watching the wheel spin and feeling the excitement in the room. Seeing the faces of my family as they clapped for me was such a special moment,” she beamed.

“I feel so blessed to win this prize. I’ll be sharing it with my husband, kids, and grandkids. I may even get myself a new kitchen,” Mary Jo said with a big smile.
