BRAMPTON RESIDENT CELEBRATING $250,000 WIN WITH DAILY KENO

TORONTO, ON – Dorothy Bradbury of Brampton knows how to pick ’em. Her DAILY KENO 10 PICK resulted in a $250,000 win in the October 7, 2025 EVENING draw.

Dorothy, 70, has been playing the lottery with OLG for about 15 years and says DAILY KENO is her favourite game. She likes to choose numbers that hold personal meaning, including her son’s birthday and her wedding anniversary. Now, she’s excited to share the story of her first major win.

“My husband checked my ticket one morning and discovered the big win,” Dorothy recalled while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to collect her winnings. “He came to wake me up, saying, ‘Get up! We won!’ I initially went back to sleep for a bit because it didn’t fully sink in!”

So far, Dorothy has only shared the news with one of her two sons. “He was so happy!” she said with a smile.

Dorothy plans to invest in some land and share a portion of her winnings with family and friends.

“This win feels amazing,” she continued. “It gives us an opportunity to fulfill some of our dreams. We’d also like to donate to charity and the local church.”

MISSISSAUGA RESIDENT CELEBRATES $1,152,781 LOTTARIO JACKPOT WIN

TORONTO, ON – Mary Battaglini of Mississauga won “Ontario’s jackpot” – $1,152,781.90 in the July 19, 2025 LOTTARIO draw.

For years, Mary has enjoyed playing a variety of games with OLG, including LOTTARIO, LOTTO MAX, and LOTTO 6/49. Now, she’s thrilled to be celebrating her first big win.

Mary checked her ticket at home and realized it was a big winner. “I was shocked,” she said while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to collect her windfall. “In fact, I’m still in shock now!”

After taking a moment to let the news sink in, Mary shared the news with her husband. “He was so surprised and joyful,” she smiled.

With her winnings, Mary plans to pay some bills and help out her family. “This still feels amazing — just wow,” she concluded.

LOTTARIO launched in 1978 as Ontario’s first terminal lotto game. Tickets are $1 and the draws take place every Saturday. Tickets purchased before 11:59 p.m. on Fridays are eligible for the Early Bird draw. Visit the LOTTARIO page on OLG.ca for more information.

BRAMPTON RESIDENT WINS $5 MILLION LOTTO 6/49 CLASSIC JACKPOT

Toronto, ON – Bridgemohan Neebar of Brampton can “find his possible” after winning the $5 million LOTTO 6/49 Classic Jackpot on August 6, 2025.

Bridgemohan, who works in the automotive industry, has been a loyal lottery player with OLG for decades. He enjoys playing LOTTO 6/49 and LOTTO MAX, using OLG’s Quick Pick feature to make his selections. Bridgemohan said he purchased this ticket as part of his regular weekly routine. Now, he’s delighted to tell the story of his first big win!

“I had a few tickets sitting in my car that had been there for a few weeks,” he recalled while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to collect his winnings. “One day when I went to the store, I decided to check them.”

Bridgemohan checked his LOTTO 6/49 ticket and saw a prize of $5 million on the screen. “My eyes went wide. Then I checked my ticket again to make sure it wasn’t a glitch in the system,” he said. “I put the ticket in my pocket and finished up my shopping before checking it again.”

Still not fully convinced of his win, Bridgemohan turned to the store clerk. “I asked, ‘Are these machines accurate?’” he recalled with a laugh.

Bridgemohan went home to share the incredible news with his wife. “I told her I needed to check something on my phone. Then I scanned the ticket using the OLG app, showed her the screen, and told her I won the lottery. She was in disbelief. We were calm, happy, and shocked at the same time.”

When asked how it feels to win the lottery, Bridgemohan said, “It feels fantastic! I’d always imagine myself winning a big prize, and it’s even better than I dreamed. I’ll enjoy all the possibilities that come with it.”

With his windfall, he plans to invest and grow his business. “I came to Canada with $300 in my pocket,” he said. “This money will allow me to create jobs and employ more people. This is a dream come true.”

LOTTO 6/49 offers players a chance to win two multi-million dollar jackpots every Wednesday and Saturday, for the same $3 per play.

OLG ISSUES SECOND QUARTER GAMING REVENUE PAYMENTS TO MUNICIPAL PARTNERS

SAULT STE. MARIE, ON – Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) is pleased to make second quarter (July 1 – September 30) payments totaling $37,765,676 to 29 communities that host land-based casinos.

So far, during OLG’s fiscal year (April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026), these 29 communities have received $81,399,887.

These payments to host communities are based on a formula in the Municipality Contribution Agreement that is consistently applied across all land-based casino sites in Ontario using a graduated scale of gaming revenue at the hosted site. 

“Municipalities are able to offer local programs and improve the quality of life of their residents through the economic activity generated though revenue from OLG gaming sites,” said Stan Cho, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Gaming. “The people of Ontario benefit from OLG’s gaming revenues as 100 per cent of OLG profits are reinvested in the province to support provincial priorities.”

Since 1994, host communities have received almost $2.3 billion in non-tax gaming revenue.

OLG is proud to share proceeds of casino gaming with local communities, contributing to economic development including infrastructure and job creation. Payments to host communities are part of OLG’s commitment to Ontario, which includes reinvesting 100 per cent of OLG’s profits back into the province.

Over the past nine years, service providers have invested more than $2.9 billion in private sector capital investment across the province. These investments have led to the development and opening of seven new casinos; two large-scale resort developments and expansions; many gaming floor expansions and new non-gaming amenities.

  • Check the winning numbers on OLG.ca or sign up to have the winning numbers emailed to you.
  • Call the OLG WIN! Line at 1-866-891-8946.
  • Visit a lottery retail location and use the self-serve ticket checker or hand your ticket to the retailer.

 

So that you don’t forget to claim your lottery prize, OLG asks you to:

  • Sign your ticket right after it’s purchased.
  • Keep the ticket in a safe and memorable location until draw time.
  • Check the ticket as soon as the draw is complete; or
  • Never lose a ticket when making your lottery purchase on OLG.ca – and receive an email notification if your ticket has won a prize.

BIG CHANGES COMING TO LOTTO MAX: Bigger Jackpots, More Prizes, and Better Overall Odds of Winning are Coming April 2026

TORONTO, ON – As we settle into Fall, and prepare for Winter, let’s fast forward and dream ahead to Spring when one of Canada’s most popular lottery games, LOTTO MAX, will undergo an exciting transformation.

New $90 million Jackpot:

The top LOTTO MAX jackpot will increase from $80 million to $90 million – a new record-breaking jackpot level for a Canadian lottery!

New $100,000 prizes:

In addition to the growing MAXMILLIONS prizes, LOTTO MAX is also introducing an exciting new feature offering multiple $100,000 prizes with every draw, based on the jackpot amount. For example, when the jackpot is $10 million, 10 additional $100,000 prizes will be drawn, and so on, up to 90 additional $100,000 prizes when the jackpot hits $90 million. That’s on top of the growing MAXMILLIONS prizing that may be available.

Better overall odds of winning any prize:

With these new features, the overall odds of winning any prize will be better than the previous version of LOTTO MAX. Each play will now include four (4) selections of seven (7) numbers.

To support these enhancements, the price of a LOTTO MAX ticket will change from $5 to $6. This small change helps us continue offering record-breaking jackpots, plus the addition of the new $100,000 prizes to the game that Canadian lottery players love. This is the first price increase since the game’s inception in 2009.

ONTARIO COMMUNITIES WIN! WINTARIO50 PLAYERS HELP OLG CONTRIBUTE OVER $1 MILLION TO LOCAL CHARITIES

TORONTO, ON – Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) is giving back to communities across the province with the help of its players. Through the WINTARIO50 Community Contest, a province-wide initiative honouring OLG’s 50-year history of supporting Ontario, more than $1 million was distributed across all 26 Ontario United Way regions.

Launched as part of OLG’s 50th anniversary celebrations, the WINTARIO50 Community Contest commemorated five decades of play, community support and lasting impact while paying tribute to the lottery game that started it all – WINTARIO. Players who purchased a WINTARIO50 lottery ticket could then enter the WINTARIO50 Community Contest for a chance to win a personal prize, and also an opportunity to nominate a United Way region for a chance for it to win up to $250,000.

Thanks to the enthusiastic participation from our players, every United Way region in Ontario received a prize, with two regions awarded a grand prize of $250,000.
