Statement from OLG on the Labour Disruption at the Slots at Woodbine Racetrack

Toronto, July 14, 2017 - OLG and the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) were unable to reach a collective agreement for gaming floor employees at Woodbine prior to the legal strike/lockout deadline of July 14, 2017 at 12:01 a.m.

OLG respects the collective bargaining process and we treat our employees fairly and respectfully.  We are open to having discussions with PSAC at any time to resolve the issues in dispute.

OLG has made wage and lump sum proposals which are fair and reasonable, and we are willing to put our offer before an arbitrator.

The Slots at Woodbine Racetrack will remain open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, which will enable OLG to continue to provide the Province and the people of Ontario with contributions for important priorities such as health care, education, amateur sport and charities.
