ONTARIO LOTTERY AND GAMING CORPORATION ACT, 1999

OLG is a Crown agency established under the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation Act, 1999. Under the Act, OLG’s purpose is to enhance Ontario’s economic development; generate revenues for the province; enhance Responsible Gambling; and deliver maximum value to the people and Province of Ontario.

GAMING CONTROL ACT, 1992

The Gaming Control Act was passed in 1992 to regulate the growth of the gaming industry in Ontario.

The Gaming Act is enforced by the Alcohol and Gaming Control Commission of Ontario.
