OLG IS HIRING IN SAULT STE MARIE

Two Day Virtual Career Fair Looking for Top Talent for 59 positions

TORONTO, ON – Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) is making bold changes in the gaming industry and needs talented professionals to join our team at our Sault Ste. Marie head office location.

As one of the largest employers in Sault Ste Marie, OLG wants to keep adding to our dynamic team there, so we are looking to fill 59 positions in 43 different roles in the following areas:

  • Lottery and Customer Care
  • Finance and Enterprise Analytics
  • Digital Enterprise Strategy
  • Enterprise Technology
  • Risk and Audit
  • People and Culture

To fill these high value positions, that come with competitive compensation packages, as soon as possible, we have created a unique recruiting event, a virtual career fair. This two-day virtual career fair, being held on April 27 and 28, 2022, will give interested candidates a chance to connect with and learn about OLG leaders while they learn about the applicants. Interested candidates are invited to book 15-minute virtual one-on-one interviews with OLG leaders for the role of their choice and those appointments can be booked now at OLG SSM Career Fair.

OLG is rapidly transforming its organization to better serve Ontarians by delivering great gaming experiences through our digital, retail lottery, and land-based casino channels. OLG is expanding our horizons even further, with a new strategic direction, to become a world class gaming entertainment leader with a globally admired digital platform.

“OLG has very deep roots in Sault Ste. Marie as we’ve been part of this community for 30 years. OLG’s operations in the community are critically important — today and in the future,” says Nancy Kennedy, OLG’s Senior Vice President of People and Culture. “Our focus is on building a fun, inclusive and performance-driven workplace in Sault Ste Marie — one that is a destination for top talent.”

In addition to the job postings, the virtual career fair is also showcasing the City of Sault Ste. Marie to highlight the benefits of living and working in this vibrant community which is home to OLG’s headquarters. OLG may offer relocation support to help with a move to Sault Ste. Marie for successful candidates.

“We see the thriving Sault Ste Marie community as a competitive advantage for that talent,” adds Kennedy. “Our team is smart, ambitious, collaborative and innovative. They are tremendously loyal to the province and our social purpose of making a better Ontario by delivering great entertainment experiences to our customers. Whether you already live in Sault Ste. Marie or want to move to this beautiful city, we want to meet with you.”

Recently, OLG was named by Forbes as one of the Best Employers in Canada for 2022. Forbes bases its annual list on an independent survey of over 10,000 people who work for companies with 500 employees or more.  Notably, we were listed in the top 20 per cent of selected companies nationwide. Earning a place on the Forbes list is entirely employee driven which is why this recognition is so meaningful.

Check out OLG SSM Career Fair  for all the great job postings and for more details on how book an interview for either April 27 or 28, 2022.
