Today, two reports were released by the city of Toronto on the benefits and considerations of an integrated gaming entertainment centre in Toronto. "Both the reports prepared by the City Manager's Office and Ernst & Young confirm that an integrated gaming entertainment centre in Toronto would create thousands of jobs and bring in tens of millions of dollars in revenue," said Rod Phillips, President & CEO of OLG. "Public consultations are the necessary next step and we're pleased they have been recommended. OLG has been clear from the outset that we will only go to municipalities that want a facility. So far, 36 other communities across Ontario have expressed interest in either continuing to host, or becoming a new host community'.
