EMC News - The City of Kingston will go ahead with a public meeting on the idea of hosting a casino. The mid-summer's meeting will take place Wednesday, August 8 in Memorial Hall. Despite warnings by the mayor to stay away from the ethical questions of gambling at this time, the contentious issue of whether to hold a meeting was decided after a marathon council meeting that spanned two nights, and caused sparks to fly.
