Sudbury council wants a casino – with the works

Sudbury city councillors are in agreement that they want a new casino for the city to be more than a casino. At its Tuesday night meeting, council voted unanimously on a motion stating that the city is interested in a casino that comes with extras like a hotel, a convention centre or an Ontario Hockey League arena. The vote sets the stage for negotiations with the private company the province selects to run Sudbury's casino. Read more
