TORONTO, ON – Saying “yes” to ENCORE paid off for Scot C. of Owen Sound. He matched all seven ENCORE numbers in exact order in the April 7, 2026 LOTTO MAX draw to win $1 million!

It was a rainy day when Scot asked his partner to check his ticket as she ran into the store. “After a few moments, she came outside, jumping up and down and waving at me to come in,” he recalled while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to collect his windfall. “I went inside, looked at the ticket checker, and was in total disbelief!”

The 64-year-old retiree shared the incredible news with his children, sister, and brother, all of whom thought he was joking at first. “They were all so excited and happy for me,” he said with a smile.

“This entire experience has been wonderful. It feels surreal!” he beamed.

With his winnings, Scot plans to purchase a new vehicle, complete some home renovations, and invest for the future.

The winning ticket was purchased at Daisy Mart on 14^th Street West in Owen Sound.
