City councillors on the brand-new gaming subcommittee have agreed that a combination of phone polls and community forums is the best way to gauge the public’s interest in a casino. The five members of the subcommittee — Mayor Bob Bratina and councillors Sam Merulla, Terry Whitehead, Rob Pasuta and Judi Partridge — voted Tuesday to pursue both avenues of public engagement.
