OLG LAUNCHES $5 INSTANT IN THE MONEY MULTIPLIER

TORONTO, ON – OLG is taking another step to raise the profile of the Ontario horse racing industry by launching a new horse-themed lottery ticket called $5 INSTANT IN THE MONEY MULTIPLIER.

“This is the fourth horse-themed product OLG has released in less than two years,” said Cal Bricker, Senior Vice President, Horse Racing. “The launch of our new INSTANT game will help build excitement and expand awareness about horse racing in Ontario.”

The INSTANT game costs $5 and features six top prizes of $100,000. It also includes a second chance contest customers can enter for a chance to win one of 500 prize packages valued at approximately $100 that include betting vouchers for Ontario racetracks and a soft shell jacket.

The new INSTANT ticket is available at lottery retailers located within 200km of an Ontario racetrack.

OLG has previously released Fire Horse, an online slots game, launched in December 2015; THE CANADIAN TRIPLE CROWN INSTANT game, an INSTANT lottery ticket, launched in May 2016; and Champion Raceway, an online slot game, launched in May 2017.

OLG is continuing to work in partnership with the horse racing industry and Ontario government to help build a more sustainable future for the industry.

OLG is the Ontario government agency that delivers gaming entertainment in a socially responsible manner. OLG conducts and manages gaming facilities, the sale of province-wide lottery games, PlayOLG Internet gaming, the delivery of bingo and other electronic gaming products at Charitable Gaming Centres and is helping to build a more sustainable horse racing industry in Ontario.
