OLG AND COMMUNITY PARTNERS TO HOST CAREER EXPO ON APRIL 26

SAULT STE. MARIE, ON – Ontario Lottery and Gaming (OLG) is proud to participate in the Baawaating Career Expo, along with other businesses and educational organizations in Sault Ste. Marie.

The expo will take place on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Shingwauk Kinoomaage Gamig (SKG), located at 1491 Queen St E, Sault Ste. Marie. The event will begin with a drumming and smudging ceremony.

Those attending the expo can visit displays and find out more about current job opportunities, services available, and educational opportunities to begin or advance their careers from participating businesses, agencies, and educational institutions.

“Sault Ste. Marie is an amazing city with so many interesting opportunities for employment,” said Esther Zdolec, OLG’s Senior Vice President, People and Culture. “The expo is a great way to bring people together and connect community members with local businesses, career services and educational institutions.”

“OLG has deep roots in Sault Ste. Marie, and we are proud of the support we provide this community,” said Zdolec. “As one of the area’s largest employers, OLG wants to keep adding to our dynamic team here. For us, the career expo is an important step in helping us achieve a more inclusive workplace and to further our commitment to building stronger relationships in Sault Ste. Marie.”
