KANATA RESIDENT WINS $1 MILLION IN LOTTO 6/49 GOLD BALL DRAW
Toronto, ON – Yves C. of Kanata can “find his possible” after winning a LOTTO 6/49 prize worth $1 million in the Gold Ball Draw on July 18, 2026.
Yves said he has been playing the lottery for over 30 years. When he discovered his big win using the OLG app, the first thing he did was call his son.
“So far, I’ve only shared the news with family. Everyone is still shocked and in awe,” he said while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to collect his windfall.
With his winnings, Yves plans to pay some bills, invest, and perhaps take a two-week cruise in Europe.
“This win is life-changing for me,” he concluded.
LOTTO 6/49 offers players a chance to win two multi-million dollar jackpots every Wednesday and Saturday, for the same $3 per play.

The winning ticket was purchased at the CNIB kiosk in Walmart on Fernbank Road in Stittsville.
