Casino question a gamble

The city wants to know if it’s time to hold ‘em or fold ‘em. The question is whether to open a casino in downtown Barrie. A public meeting in council chambers Thursday from 7 p.m to 9 p.m. will offer the public both a chance to hear from Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp. (OLG), and ask questions of the city’s committee members who are reviewing the notion of gambling in Barrie. Read more
