TORONTO, ON – Life is a little more “grand” for Dennis C. of Mississauga. He matched all five main numbers to win a second prize of $25,000 a year for life with DAILY GRAND in the September 3, 2026 draw. Dennis opted for the lump sum payment of $500,000.

Dennis said he’s been playing the lottery with OLG for about 30 years, and it has become part of his routine. Now, he’s delighted to share the news of his first major win.

“I picked up some coffee, had breakfast at home, and decided to check my tickets. When I checked this one, it said ‘$25,000 a year for life.’ At first, I couldn’t process it,” the 50-year-old recalled. “I was so thrilled and my heart was racing!”

While at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to collect his winnings, Dennis said the first person he shared the news with was his mom. “She thought I was fibbing,” he said with a laugh. “We both just stood there in awe and disbelief, trying to process what had just happened!”

When asked what it’s like to win the lottery, Dennis said, “It’s truly an out-of-this-world experience. The feeling is unreal.”

With his windfall, Dennis plans to save and invest for the future.

“I want to take some time to think about it and not make any rash decisions,” he concluded.
