NORTH YORK RESIDENT WINS $250,000 TOP PRIZE WITH CASH BOOST SCRATCH TICKET
TORONTO, ON – Ishaq Y. of North York is $250,000 richer after winning a top prize with a CASH BOOST SCRATCH ticket (Game #2576).
Ishaq, a proud retiree, has been playing the lottery for about seven years and believes good things come when you least expect them.
“CASH BOOST caught my eye because it looked new and fun. I thought, ‘Let me give it a try,’” he recalled while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to collect his cheque. “I was having an ordinary day when it turned into an extraordinary day!”
Ishaq was at the laundromat enjoying a coffee from his favourite coffee shop when he decided to purchase a ticket. “While waiting for my laundry, I started scratching it. I had my ticket validated right then and there, and the machine started playing the winning music. I couldn’t believe it! I began dancing with the store clerk. The moment was filled with pure joy and excitement.”
So far, Ishaq has only shared the news with one close friend. “I plan to tell my family soon,” he said with a smile.
Ishaq plans to keep his winnings in the bank and enjoy life.
“I feel amazing and am so grateful,” he concluded.
