Responsible Gambling
Encouraging responsible gambling is critical to creating a fun, engaging gaming experience. OLG is dedicated to equipping our players with tools to make informed decisions — including being transparent about how our games work and offering support if playing is no longer fun.
Every year, we invest over $20 million in responsible gambling programs, including education resources and play management tools such as the My PlayBreak program, which can provide players with temporary breaks in game play for up to six months.

PlaySmart, OLG’s responsible gambling program, offers resource centres in every casino and Charitable Gaming Centre across Ontario, along with online resources for accessible virtual support. The more successful PlaySmart is, the better our player experience is — making this program a critical part of keeping players safe.
