Toronto, ON – Jonathan Saville of Thunder Bay can “find his possible” after winning a LOTTO 6/49 prize worth $1 million in the Gold Ball Draw on March 27, 2024.

Jonathan, 62, says the most he's ever won with the lottery before this is $100. "I went to the casino and passed a lottery retailer, so I decided to buy a LOTTO 6/49 with ENCORE. I checked my ticket the next day using the OLG app and saw 'Big Winner $1 million,’” shared Jonathan while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings.

The retiree says he was so confused that he had to check his ticket three times. "I texted my wife and she thought I was lying," Jonathan laughed. "She made me count the zeroes. She was so overwhelmed. This is well deserved after we have each gone through health problems."

He plans to put his win toward his retirement.

LOTTO 6/49 offers players a chance to win two multi-million dollar jackpots every Wednesday and Saturday, for the same $3 per play.
