Good Business
Good business means doing things the right way — being good stewards to our players and ensuring our business practices enable the good work we do in the community. It means creating a strong culture where employee differences are valued and celebrated. Finally, it means managing risk and building resiliency for the future.
Employee Engagement
OLG strives to create a strong culture — where employee differences are valued and celebrated — as we work as one team to deliver for Ontario. This is embodied by Our Truths: We Care for Ontario, We Play as One Team, We Are Player Obsessed, We Dream Big and Champion Change, and We Celebrate our Differences. Living by these Truths helps us better serve our communities and creates a winning workplace culture.

Advancing Truth and Reconciliation
Building relationships with First Nations is a continuous, collaborative act, and OLG knows that our commitments to advancing the principles of Truth and Reconciliation is bigger than a simple financial investment. Our commitments to inclusion and support are embodied in countless ways — many of which will manifest in our Reconcili-Action Strategy. The strategy will outline an actionable path to advance the principles of Truth and Reconciliation and further strengthen our relationship with First Nations. Together, we will achieve real, measurable change for Indigenous communities, businesses, organizations and partners.

Equity, Diversity and Inclusion
EDI is an essential element of OLG culture. When employees have the space to be themselves and use their perspectives and skills to benefit the people and Province of Ontario, we all become stronger. Our EDI Strategic Plan is rooted in reimagining our processes through an inclusion lens and fostering a psychologically safe workplace that prioritizes employee wellbeing. At the same time, we are deepening our engagement with players, suppliers and community partners to deliver equitable and inclusive experiences for Ontario’s diverse communities.

Anti-Money Laundering and Crime Prevention
OLG does not tolerate fraud, money laundering or financial crime at our gaming sites or through our services. OLG works closely with gaming site operators, regulators and law enforcement and has robust Anti-Money Laundering initiatives, training, policies and procedures in place to detect and deter suspicious transactions.

Procurement
Fostering ethical procurement practices and robust partnerships enhances the quality and integrity of the goods and services integral to our operations and reinforces our commitments related to human rights labour standards and environmental protection. OLG’s Supplier Code of Conduct outlines the standards we expect from people, companies and others, such as subcontractors, that provide goods, services and/or deliverables to OLG.

Corporate Governance and Risk Management
OLG prioritizes ethical business practices, responsible risk management and player-centric operations. Integrity and compliance drive our standards for responsible gambling in Ontario. Annually, we conduct an enterprise risk assessment to address sustainability risks across key focus areas, including regulatory compliance.

Environmental Stewardship and Managing Climate Risk
OLG’s commitment to environmental stewardship includes greenhouse gas emissions management, energy, waste and water management. Recognizing the significant impact that climate change can have on our operations — from the functionality of our workplaces to the health and well-being of our employees — we are taking steps toward identifying and assessing risks.

PLATO Testing
OLG is proud to partner with PLATO Testing, an Indigenous-owned software testing company breaking down barriers of entry for Indigenous Peoples who want to work in technology.
Through our partnership, we are helping create jobs for First Nations, Métis and Inuit Canadians, building skills and professional experience — and making a positive impact on lives and communities. Their innovative train-and-employ model gives students the education and internship experience they need to become full-time software testers.
