Public input on gaming facility heard

EMC News -Quinte West - Council heard public input at its Monday meeting regarding the potential location of an OLG gaming facility within the city. Several residents had comments to share, for and against the possible casino. "We have had a few phone calls and comments," noted Mayor John Williams. Mike Stortini from Batawa said he had a moral issue with a casino and felt that people don't have to gamble. "Clientele should be visitors, not the people who live in this area," he said.
