TORONTO, ON – Saying “yes” to ENCORE paid off for Majeed Mohammed of Brampton. He matched all seven ENCORE numbers in exact order in the March 23, 2024 LOTTO 6/49 draw to win $1 million!

Majeed, a father of two, says this is his first major lottery win and he's been playing for the last eight years. "A retailer once explained ENCORE to me and ever since, I haven't stopped adding it to my tickets," he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his windfall.

He discovered his win while checking his tickets at the gas station. "I handed my tickets to the retailers and the terminal shut down. He showed me I won $1 million and I couldn't believe it!"

Majeed plans to purchase a home with his win.

The winning ticket was purchased at Shell on Great Lakes Drive in Brampton.
