Toronto, ON – BINGO! Leona M. of Etobicoke won a $250,000 top prize with a BINGO MULTIPLIER SCRATCH ticket (Game #3088).

Leona, a retired librarian, has been playing the lottery on and off for over 30 years. Her favorite games are BINGO and CROSSWORD SCRATCH tickets. “This is my first big win!” the 77-year-old shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to collect her winnings.

It was Leona’s 77^th birthday when she found out she’d won big. “What an incredible birthday present,” she said, beaming. “I was at home, sitting at the table after dinner, when I decided to play my tickets. As I was playing this game, I realized I’d won and smiled so hard. I felt like I was going to burst with excitement!”

Leona was with her son when she discovered her win. “I think he was even more shocked than I was,” she said with a laugh. “Not long after, my husband walked in and I shared the exciting news with him. He had a look of complete shock on his face and couldn’t believe what I was telling him! Everyone was absolutely thrilled.”

Leona said she needs some time to process her win before making any plans.

“Even sitting here today, I can’t believe I’m walking home with this much money. It feels surreal. I’m incredibly grateful for this life-changing birthday surprise,” she concluded.

BINGO MULTIPLIER is available for $10 a play and the top prize is $250,000. Odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.59. Visit OLG.ca for more information on this and other great games.
