TORONTO, ON – Saying “yes” to ENCORE paid off for Emanuel C. of Etobicoke. He matched all seven ENCORE numbers in exact order in the March 11, 2026 ONTARIO 49 draw to win $1 million!

Emanuel, a 61-year-old pastry maker, said he’s a loyal lottery player with OLG. He especially enjoys playing ONTARIO 49, LOTTO MAX, and LOTTO 6/49.

“It’s kind of a ritual I have with my mother — we like to check our tickets together, watch The Price Is Right, and have dinner. It’s our special bonding time,” he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to collect his windfall.

Emanuel was sitting at the kitchen table with his mother, checking the winning numbers, when he turned to her and said, “Mom, I think I won $1 million!” With shaky hands, he pulled out his phone to scan the ticket on the OLG app and saw that he really had won big. “When I told my brother, we were crying and laughing at the same time. He was so happy for me!”

“This is a tremendous dream come true,” Emanuel continued. “Sharing this experience with my family means the world to me, and I will remember this for the rest of my life.”

Looking ahead, he plans to share his winnings with his brother, check off a bucket-list trip to Newfoundland and Labrador, and save for retirement.
