Viva St. Thomas! Gambling on the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation's interest in the municipality, St. Thomas council has directed staff to prepare a letter to the crown corporation letting them know St. Thomas is “open for business” for a casino. “I'm hoping for support on this because it's going to be an opportunity to send a very clear and loud message that the city of St. Thomas is open for business,” finance and administration chairwoman Lori Baldwin-Sands said.
