Toronto, ON – Thi Tran (Thai-Tea) of Woodbridge can realize her dreams after winning a $500,000 MAXMILLIONS prize in the December 23, 2025 LOTTO MAX draw.

Thai-Tea, a hairdresser, said she enjoys playing LOTTO MAX and PICK-4, using OLG’s Quick Pick feature to make her selections. “This is my first big win! I’m so happy,” she shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to collect her winnings.

The 45-year-old mother of three said she checked her ticket and initially thought she won $500. “I continued on with my day, but I couldn’t stop thinking about it,” she recalled. “I had my husband take a look at it and he said, ‘You won $500,000!’ I couldn’t stop shaking and had goosebumps!”

“I’m very happy with all of this,” Thai-Tea continued. “This prize will help my kids with their school tuition. My dream is to travel with them to Vietnam since I haven’t returned in over 13 years.”
