Toronto, ON – Glenn and Linda Moore of Welland are celebrating after winning $800,000 with THE BIGGER SPIN INSTANT game (Game #3154).

Glenn and Linda, married for 55 years, have been playing the lottery with OLG for decades, enjoying a variety of INSTANT games. Recently, Linda played their THE BIGGER SPIN ticket, thinking it was a non-winner, and asked Glenn to take it to the store to double-check. “I took the ticket to our regular store and had the clerk validate it for us,” said Glenn, as he and Linda visited the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to find out how much they would be taking home. “When the animated wheel landed on THE BIGGER SPIN, the clerk was so excited, saying, ‘You’re heading to Toronto!’ I was thinking, ‘Toronto? For what?’ When she explained how the game worked and what the minimum prize was, my response was, ‘Get out of here!’”

“I went straight home to tell Linda, and she thought I was joking,” Glenn chuckled. “I was just stunned,” said Linda. “We put the ticket in a safe place and guarded it with our lives!”

Soon, the time came for Glenn and Linda to spin THE BIGGER SPIN Wheel. “I didn’t know what to expect when I saw the wheel, but it was impressive,” said Linda. “As it started to spin, the anticipation of the crowd grew. People we didn’t even know were so happy for us, clapping and cheering us on. It was such a fun experience,” Glenn smiled.

“As the wheel came to a stop on ‘$800,000,’ I began to cry thankful tears,” Linda beamed. “It’s just awesome!” Glenn agreed. “We’re so excited and deeply grateful for this whole experience.”

“We will be putting this money in the bank. We’ll take some time and a few deep breaths before we make any decisions,” the couple concluded.

The winning ticket was purchased at Kay’s Korner Variety on Thorold Road in Welland.
