WHEN DUTY CALLS, THE VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTERS OF LEEDS STATION 1 RESPOND.

ALMOST 200 TIMES A YEAR THE 40 VOLUNTEERS OF LEEDS FIRE DEPARTMENT - STATION
WE HEAR AN ALARM GO OFF AND THE SOUNDS OF THE STATION SPRINGING INTO ACTION. THE FRONT DOOR OPENS AND WE HEAD OFF ON THE ROAD AT INCREASING SPEED TOWARDS SOME SORT OF EMERGENCY. SUPERS PASS BY AT AN INCREASING SPEED.
RESPOND TO FIRES.
ACCIDENTS,
AND MEDICAL EMERGENCIES.

EMERGENCY LIGHTS ON TOP OF THE FIRE TRUCK. WE CAN SEE THE LANDSCAPE FLYING PAST BEHIND.
SO IT WAS ONLY RIGHT THAT WHEN STATION 1 NEEDED A NEW FIRE TRUCK.
SOME OF THE VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTERS BACKING THEIR TRUCK BACK INTO THE STATION AFTER A CALL.
SOMEONE RESPONDED TOO.
