“I was out for a walk with my dog when we passed by a gas station, and I decided to go in and pick up a ticket,” Pierre recounted, while visiting the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to claim his winnings. “I bought one THE BIG SPIN ticket, played it, and won $20. I was thinking about getting a BIG MONEY PAY DAY ticket as well, which was the only one left in the display case. At first, I decided against it and walked away, but I changed my mind and went back to get it.”

Pierre played his BIG MONEY PAY DAY ticket right away and initially thought he’d won a prize of $300. “When I checked my ticket, I realized it was actually $300,000!” he recalled with a smile. “I was in shock and overjoyed.”

He immediately called his wife to share the incredible news. “I said, ‘Something good happened today — we won $300,000!’ My wife thought I was joking and told me to stop messing with her head,” he said with a laugh. “When she realized I was serious, she was so happy and excited.”

With his windfall, Pierre plans to purchase a new car and invest. “Being a winner feels great,” he beamed. “It changes your life in the best way.”
