Toronto, ON – Andrew Kennedy of Toronto is celebrating after winning a $250,000 top prize with INSTANT WINTARIO50 (Game #2537).

Andrew, 54, said he’s been playing the lottery with OLG for over 10 years. He typically plays once a week and is now thrilled to share the story of his first major win.

“I decided to pick up three INSTANT WINTARIO50 tickets and one turned out to be a big winner!” he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to collect his windfall.

The father of three said he was at home with his wife when he discovered his big win. “My wife usually checks my tickets for me. Sometimes she’ll joke around saying we won, but this time she wasn’t kidding!” he said with a laugh.

“I was in disbelief,” Andrew continued. “We were both shocked and very happy. This feels surreal! It still hasn’t sunk in yet.”

With his winnings, Andrew plans to pay some bills and buy his wife a new car.
