TORONTO RESIDENT CAN DREAM TO THE MAX WITH A $1 MILLION LOTTO MAX MAXMILLIONS WIN
Toronto, ON – Hao Huang of Toronto can realize his dreams after winning a $1 million MAXMILLIONS prize in the November 5, 2024 LOTTO MAX draw.
Hao, a business owner, occasionally plays the lottery with OLG. He recently purchased a LOTTO MAX Quick Pick ticket while waiting for his wife at the grocery store. This ticket led Hao to his first big win!
“I used the OLG app on my phone to check my ticket,” said Hao, while visiting the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings. “I was surprised when I saw the ‘Big Winner’ message on the screen, but I believed it right away!”
Hao’s wife took a little more convincing. “When I called my wife to tell her I had won, she didn’t believe me. She said, ‘You’re just kidding!’ I had to scan my ticket so she could see the prize amount with her own eyes,” Hao smiled. “I’m very happy and excited. I never expected to win.”
“I plan to celebrate Lunar New Year with my family and take them on a trip to celebrate,” Hao concluded.
LOTTO MAX players in Ontario have won over $8.8 billion since 2009, including 109 jackpot wins and 921 MAXMILLIONS prizes, right across the province. LOTTO MAX is $5 per play and draws take place on Tuesdays and Fridays.
The winning ticket was purchased at Loblaws on Lake Shore Boulevard in Toronto.
