I was very shocked!”

Thomas went back into the store to have his ticket validated. “I was still in shock. When an OLG representative called to start the process, it started to sink in.”

Filled with excitement, he headed home and shared the astonishing news with his children. “At first, they said, ‘No way — you’re kidding!’ Then, it gradually turned to ‘OMG!’” he laughed. “I was emotional when telling my children. It was so heartwarming to hear their love and support for me.”

Thomas has a few goals he’s eager to fulfill. He plans to purchase a new vehicle, enjoy some well-deserved travel, and invest for his future. “I also want to treat my kids and grandkids, and surprise my sister with a little something,” he added with a smile.

Reflecting on the surreal moment, Thomas said, “I never imagined I’d ever win this much money — it’s just amazing! I feel great and am filled with gratitude. The staff at OLG have been awesome throughout this journey, from start to finish. I’m thankful for the lottery, the fun it’s brought me, and now … this big win!”
