Toronto, ON – Donel Porquez of Richmond Hill can “find his possible” after winning a LOTTO 6/49 second prize worth $265,952.40 in the March 4, 2026 draw.

Donel said he had a feeling he should buy a ticket one day. “It was like a little voice in the back of my head,” he recalled while visiting the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to collect his winnings.

“When I went to check my ticket at the store, I couldn’t believe my eyes. The hair on my body was standing up and I started to sweat,” he said. “I double-checked it using the OLG app and was still in disbelief.”

The 47-year-old hasn’t shared the news with anyone yet. “I’m so excited and grateful for this win. It’s a big help. I’m shocked and speechless!” he concluded.

LOTTO 6/49 offers players a chance to win two multi-million dollar jackpots every Wednesday and Saturday, for the same $3 per play. The Classic Draw offers a fixed $5 million jackpot for every draw, while the Gold Ball Draw guarantees a $1 million prize, or the growing jackpot that starts at $10 million and can exceed $60 million.
