Gary, a father of four and grandfather of nine, is a longtime lottery player with OLG. The 73-year-old has won some smaller prizes in the past, but nothing could have prepared him for the thrill of becoming a millionaire overnight!

“I checked my ticket while at the grocery store and couldn’t believe what was happening. I left without the groceries!” he chuckled.

Gary says he shared the great news with his children, neighbours, and friends, and everyone has been congratulating him. “I’ve had some good phone calls,” he said with a smile.

“I’ll enjoy this win with my children and grandchildren. Maybe we’ll take a couple of trips,” he concluded.
