Toronto, ON – Frank Horvat of Petawawa is celebrating after winning $550,000 with THE BIGGER SPIN INSTANT game (Game #3154).

Frank, a retiree, is a longtime lottery player with OLG. He says THE BIGGER SPIN is one of his favourite games to play, and this is his first big lottery win.

Frank admits he was nervous leading up to his BIGGER SPIN event. “I knew that at minimum, I’d be going home with half a million dollars, and the extra just feels like a bonus!”

When stepping up to the brightly coloured wheel, Frank had family on his mind. “My dad used to play WINTARIO, and I used to watch the draws with him,” he remembered fondly. “It’s nice to have my family here watching and supporting me today.”

Frank gave the wheel a confident spin and watched it with anticipation. The crowd roared with excitement as the wheel spun, slowed, and landed on a prize of $550,000.

“It’s hard to explain this feeling,” he said. “I’m full of euphoria.”

Reflecting on what it feels like to win big, Frank shared, “Retirement just got a whole lot better! The best part about winning is that it just makes everything so much easier. I have grandkids in Nova Scotia, and now I have no problem going to visit them anytime I want. I get to take my grandson to his first NHL hockey game, and that’s amazing,” he added, his voice filled with emotion. “It’s life-changing.”

With his winnings, Frank also plans to spoil his dog, Hazel. “Time for some extra treats for her!” he concluded with a smile.
