“I was at the store when I used the ticket checker to see how I did on my LOTTO 6/49 ticket,” Christine recounted, while visiting the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to collect her winnings. “When I saw the prize amount, I was shocked! I had to scan my ticket a few times so I could count the zeros. As reality began to sink in, I found myself laughing and crying at the same time. I couldn’t believe what was happening! The store clerk was so kind, offering me a seat so I could collect myself.”

“After all these years of playing, winning was the most amazing surprise,” Christine smiled. “I felt like I was in a bubble of joy! Immediately, I knew that this prize would be a game changer for my life.”

When asked what her plans are for her windfall, Christine said, “This win will allow me to invest in myself and my health in ways I couldn’t before. It’s a wonderful opportunity to prioritize myself. Beyond that, I have no idea,” she chuckled. “I will be able to pay off my bills, and I’ll be sure to seek advice from a financial advisor.”

“Winning been a fantastic experience. It’s wonderful and beautiful feeling—like freedom. I’m so thankful,” she concluded.
