TORONTO, ON – Saying “yes” to ENCORE paid off for Marsha Jane Desjardins of New Liskeard. She matched all seven ENCORE numbers in exact order in the September 3, 2025 ONTARIO 49 draw to win $1 million!

Marsha, 71, has been a loyal lottery player with OLG for over 30 years. She checked her ticket at the store and was shocked to discover she was a big winner.

“I began to shake, and I was holding back tears,” she recalled while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to collect her winnings. “It took everything in me not to cry. It still doesn’t feel real.”

The retiree says she only shared the news about her windfall with a few people who are close to her. “They were beyond happy for me,” she said with a smile.

“Winning is an unreal feeling,” Marsha added. “It’s a total adrenaline rush!”

She says she plans to invest her winnings.

The winning ticket was purchased at Esso/Husky Market on Highway 11 North in New Liskeard.
