MARKHAM RESIDENT WINS $250,000 TOP PRIZE WITH INSTANT CROSSWORD DELUXE
Toronto, ON – Vairamuthan Subramaniam of Markham is celebrating after winning a $250,000 top prize with INSTANT CROSSWORD DELUXE (Game #3355).
Vairamuthan, a retiree, has been a dedicated lottery player with OLG for over 30 years. A daily player who enjoys exploring a variety of games, he’s always remained hopeful that one day he’d celebrate a big win — and now, that day has finally come. The father of three and grandfather of five is delighted to share the news of his recent windfall, courtesy of INSTANT CROSSWORD DELUXE.
“I discovered my win at the same lottery kiosk where I bought my ticket,” Vairamuthan said, while visiting the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to collect his winnings. “It happened on April Fools’ Day, so when I called my kids to tell them, they thought it was a prank and didn’t believe me!”
When asked how it felt to win big after years of playing, he said, “I feel so happy and proud to have won.”
With this exciting win comes an exciting next step. Vairamuthan plans to put his winnings toward a downpayment on a house.
