Toronto, ON – Scott David Fasano of Guelph can “find his possible” after winning a LOTTO 6/49 prize worth $1 million in the Gold Ball Draw on August 2, 2025.

Scott, who works for the City of Guelph, has been a regular lottery player with OLG for about five years. His go-to games are LOTTO MAX and LOTTO 6/49. Now, the 34-year-old is overjoyed to be celebrating his first big win and the excitement of becoming a millionaire!

One day, while running some errands, Scott stopped by the store to check his LOTTO 6/49 ticket. “I shut the machine down,” he recalled while visiting the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to collect his winnings.

Scott thought of a fun way to share the great news with his wife. “I called her and asked what we’d do with $1 million,” he chuckled. “We sat on the news for a bit to digest it before sharing it with our friends.”

When asked how it feels to win big, he said, “It’s crazy! Sitting here at the Prize Centre, I still can’t believe it!”

Scott plans to continue working and says he’ll enjoy the security this win will provide for his family’s future. “Maybe we’ll take a couple of trips next year,” he concluded with a smile.
