Toronto, ON – A group of four from Southern Ontario can realize their dreams after winning a $1 million MAXMILLIONS prize in the November 22, 2024 LOTTO MAX draw.

The group members are:

Robert Kotyk of Mississauga

Andrew Infelise of Mississauga

Paul Lehoveczki of Norval

Robert Kenzora of Markham

Robert K., a retiree, is the newest member of his lottery group. For the past eight months, the friends have been playing LOTTO MAX twice a week, using OLG’s Quick Pick feature and always saying ‘yes’ to ENCORE. Robert K. was the one who picked up the group’s ticket, which led to their first big win!

“While making a quick stop for gas, I decided to purchase our tickets,” said Robert, while he and his group visited the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to claim their winnings. “When I checked this particular ticket and realized we’d won $1 million, I started shaking. It was hard to believe! The store staff were very happy and helpful.”

“In disbelief, I called my wife and said, ‘I think we just won the lottery!’ Then, I reached out to the guys. It was surreal to share the news with them,” Robert smiled.

The group members plan to use their windfall to pay bills and mortgages, invest, and take vacations.

LOTTO MAX players in Ontario have won over $8.9 billion since 2009, including 111 jackpot wins and 937 MAXMILLIONS prizes, right across the province. LOTTO MAX is $5 per play and draws take place on Tuesdays and Fridays.

The winning ticket was purchased at Shell on Credit Valley Road in Mississauga.
