EAST YORK RESIDENT WINS $250,000 TOP PRIZE WITH INSTANT WILD MULTIPLIERS
TORONTO, ON – Brenda Connors of East York is $250,000 richer after winning a top prize with INSTANT WILD MULTIPLIERS (Game #2508).
Brenda, a retiree, enjoys playing a variety of lottery games with OLG. She likes to play LOTTO MAX and LOTTO 6/49, especially when the jackpots are high, and sometimes grabs an INSTANT ticket for fun. Now, she’s thrilled to share the story of her first big win.
“The word ‘WILD’ caught my attention, so I decided to give this ticket a try,” she recalled, while visiting the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to claim her winnings. “I really connected with the bright colours — they reminded me of the spring and summer seasons.”
She was at home when she played her ticket and uncovered a big win. “I saw that one of my numbers matched one of the winning numbers, along with the 20X. In that moment, I was in shock and disbelief.”
To be sure of her win, Brenda asked someone to double-check the ticket. “I also scanned it on my phone, saw the ‘Big Winner’ message, and took a screenshot.”
After confirming the win, Brenda shared the exciting news with her family. “They told me I deserve this win because I’m a very positive person,” she smiled.
When asked to describe the experience of winning, she said, “It feels like a blessing — like a breath of fresh air.”
Brenda plans to put the money towards her retirement.
Her advice to others? “Go wild, have fun, enjoy life, and focus on the positives!”

The winning ticket was purchased at Sobeys on Danforth Avenue in Toronto.
