TORONTO, ON – Bernard Brian Woodsworth of Carp is $5 million richer after winning a top prize with INSTANT EXTREME (Game #2209).

Bernard has been playing the lottery for about 50 years and has never won a prize quite like this. “I played my ticket at home and I realized the numbers matched for the $5 million prize. I checked it using the OLG app, but thought I should wait to get excited until the cheque was in my hands,” he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to claim his windfall.

The 69-year-old said he hasn’t told anyone about his win yet.

With his prize money, Bernard wants to do the things he’s always dreamt of. “I plan to make a real difference in my life,” he said. “I’m going to help my mom move to a retirement home, pay some bills, and take a trip to Scotland and England — places I’ve always wanted to see.”
