BROOKLIN RESIDENT CAN DREAM TO THE MAX WITH A $500,000 LOTTO MAX MAXMILLIONS WIN
Toronto, ON – Paul Ritschel of Brooklin can realize his dreams after winning a $500,000 MAXMILLIONS prize in the September 17, 2024 LOTTO MAX draw.
Paul, 55, has been playing the lottery with OLG since he turned of age. He enjoys playing LOTTO MAX, LOTTO 6/49, and LOTTARIO, using OLG’s Quick Pick feature to make his selections. The father of two is excited to share the news of his first big win!
“I was at home when I decided to check my ticket using the OLG app. When I saw the prize amount, I was in awe. My first thought was, ‘What am I going to do with this money?’ It was a surreal moment,” Paul recalled, while visiting the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto. “I told my close family and friends, and they were all thrilled for me.”
“It’s hard to describe how winning feels since it really hasn’t sunk in yet. I hope that lightning strikes twice, or maybe even three times,” Paul chuckled.
For the time being, Paul plans to invest his windfall.
LOTTO MAX players in Ontario have won over $8 billion since 2009, including 108 jackpot wins and 919 MAXMILLIONS prizes, right across the province. LOTTO MAX is $5 per play and draws take place on Tuesdays and Fridays.
The winning ticket was purchased at Brooklin Smokey Way on Campbell Street in Whitby.
