Toronto, ON – Bridgemohan Neebar of Brampton can “find his possible” after winning the $5 million LOTTO 6/49 Classic Jackpot on August 6, 2025.

Bridgemohan, who works in the automotive industry, has been a loyal lottery player with OLG for decades. Now, he’s delighted to tell the story of his first big win!

“I had a few tickets sitting in my car that had been there for a few weeks,” he recalled while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to collect his winnings. “One day when I went to the store, I decided to check them.”

Bridgemohan checked his LOTTO 6/49 ticket and saw a prize of $5 million on the screen. “My eyes went wide. Then I checked my ticket again to make sure it wasn’t a glitch in the system,” he said. “I put the ticket in my pocket and finished up my shopping before checking it again.”

Still not fully convinced of his win, Bridgemohan turned to the store clerk. “I asked, ‘Are these machines accurate?’” he recalled with a laugh.

Bridgemohan went home to share the incredible news with his wife. “I told her I needed to check something on my phone. Then I scanned the ticket using the OLG app, showed her the screen, and told her I won the lottery. She was in disbelief. We were calm, happy, and shocked at the same time.”

When asked how it feels to win the lottery, Bridgemohan said, “It feels fantastic! I’d always imagine myself winning a big prize, and it’s even better than I dreamed. I’ll enjoy all the possibilities that come with it.”

With his windfall, he plans to invest and grow his business. “I came to Canada with $300 in my pocket,” he said. “This money will allow me to create jobs and employ more people. This is a dream come true.”
