Toronto, ON – Alberto Amendola of Brampton can “find his possible” after winning a LOTTO 6/49 second prize worth $255,160.40 in the March 29, 2025 LOTTO 6/49 draw.

Alberto, a married father of three, is a long-time lottery player with OLG who picks up his LOTTO 6/49 and LOTTO MAX tickets weekly. For most, winning the lottery would be a dream come true—and for Alberto, it truly was!

“On a Saturday night, I had a dream I’d won the lottery. The next morning, I told my wife about it—and then, on Monday, I found out it had come true!” Alberto recounted, while visiting the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to claim his winnings. “I was at the store, scanning my second-to-last ticket, and I had to do a double take. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing!”

“When I first told my wife about my dream, she laughed, but when I returned home from the store and told her I’d won big, she was at a loss for words,” Alberto smiled. “The next day, we went to the store together to validate my ticket. It went from a dream to reality. How crazy is that?”

Alberto shared more about what the win felt like and how much this prize means to him. “It’s truly a blessing and it couldn’t have come at a better time,” he beamed. “I can’t quite explain it, but I have a feeling something bigger will come my way. I’m hopeful I’ll be back here at the OLG Prize Centre soon.”

With his windfall, Alberto plans to pay off bills and perhaps plan a little getaway for him and his wife.
