TORONTO, ON – Life is a little more “grand” for George Morton of Brampton. He matched all five main numbers to win a second prize of $25,000 a year for life with DAILY GRAND in the September 22, 2025 draw. George opted for the lump sum payment of $500,000.

George, a father of three and grandfather of two, has been a loyal lottery player with OLG for over 30 years. “I play all sorts of lottery games. It’s something fun for me to do,” he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to claim his windfall. Now, the 82-year-old is delighted to tell the story of his first major win.

When George checked his ticket at the store, he didn’t understand what was going on at first. “I thought there was a mistake,” he recalled. “The screen said ‘$25,000 a year for life’ and I thought it was an advertisement until the lady said, ‘Sir, this is your prize!’”

“It was such an unreal feeling,” George continued. “I told everyone in my family, and they were speechless.”

The retiree plans to share his winnings with his loved ones. “They’re my world, and I want to share this blessing with them.”

“This win feels so good. Life is good,” he concluded with a smile.

DAILY GRAND is a national lottery game with a top prize of $1,000 a day for life for matching the five main numbers plus the Grand Number.
