Toronto, ON – Pareshkumar Naik of Brampton can “find his possible” after winning a LOTTO 6/49 prize worth $1 million in the Gold Ball Draw on April 9, 2025.

Pareshkumar, who works in real estate, is an occasional lottery player with OLG. He enjoys playing LOTTO 6/49 and LOTTO MAX, using OLG’s Quick Pick feature to make his selections and adding ENCORE to all his tickets. The married father of one is now thrilled to be celebrating his first big win!

“I went to the store for groceries, and while I was in line, I thought, ‘Why not grab a ticket?’” Pareshkumar recalled, while visiting the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to claim his windfall.

“I was at the store alone when I discovered I’d won big,” he recounted. “I froze on the spot and had no reaction. I was at a loss for words and couldn’t wrap my mind around what was happening!”

Pareshkumar immediately called his wife to share the incredible news. “She didn’t believe me at all,” he said with a laugh. “She kept saying, ‘This can’t be true,’ so I drove home to show her the proof. When I did, the look on her face was priceless. She was completely stunned.”

While he hasn’t made any major plans just yet, Pareshkumar says he will decide with his family what to do with his winnings. “This money will help out a lot,” he said with a smile.

“It’s still hard for me to process this win. Maybe once I see the money in my bank account, it’ll finally start to sink in.”

When asked how it feels to win the lottery, Pareshkumar reflected, “I feel very excited and blessed to have won. It was certainly a day I’ll never forget!”
