TORONTO, ON – Saying “yes” to ENCORE paid off for Delroy Shand of Brampton. He matched all seven ENCORE numbers in exact order in the February 4, 2026 LOTTO 6/49 draw to win $1 million!

Delroy, who works in the automotive industry, said he’s been playing the lottery since immigrating to Canada in 1990. “I always say yes to ENCORE, and this time it made me $1 million richer!”

While at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his cheque, the 60-year-old said his family was thrilled to hear about his big win. “We’ve kept it quiet,” he shared.

When asked to describe his experience of winning, Delroy said, “It feels fantastic! Today is a touching day for me.”

With his windfall, he is considering purchasing a new home. “I don’t want to quit work. I love my job. I don’t want to spend my win on anything lavish either. I just want to focus on my family and my retirement. And I think I need a good steak!” he concluded with a smile.

The winning ticket was purchased at Petro-Canada on Eglington Avenue West in Etobicoke.
