TORONTO, ON – Saying “yes” to ENCORE paid off for Johnathan Hyman of Brampton. He matched all seven ENCORE numbers in exact order in the January 25, 2025 ONTARIO 49 draw to win $1 million!

Johnathan, a father of three, has been playing ONTARIO 49 with OLG for two years, using OLG’s Quick Pick feature to make his selections. He is now celebrating his first big win and the thrill of becoming a millionaire!

“I’d bought my ticket at the gas station on the weekend and discovered my win when I checked it using the OLG app on Monday,” Johnathan recounted, while visiting the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to claim his winnings. “I was surprised when I saw all the zeros! It was hard to believe at first. I called my wife and shared the good news. She was so excited and happy for me. Still feeling a bit skeptical, I told her I’d go to the gas station to double-check.”

“Winning feels good,” Johnathan smiled. “It means I can pay off bills, take care of school fees, and help others.”

The winning ticket was purchased at Esso/Circle K on Kennedy Road North in Brampton.
