TORONTO, ON – Javier B. of Mississauga is $250,000 richer after winning a top prize with INSTANT POKER NIGHT (Game #2535).

The 35-year-old pastry chef said the most he’d ever won before this was $800 on an INSTANT ticket. Now, he’s thrilled to share the news of his biggest win to date.

“I was at home when I played my ticket and checked it using the OLG app. It was so overwhelming, I felt sick! I had to lay down,” he recalled while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to collect his winnings.

Shortly after, Javier went downstairs to share the incredible news with his grandmother. “I said, ‘Grandma, am I dreaming? I won $250,000!’ We were both so excited!” he said, beaming.

With his windfall, Javier is looking ahead to his next steps. He wants to buy a new car, purchase a new house for his mother back home in Guyana, and invest for the future. “I’d like to learn to drive a car in Canada and get my driver’s license so that I could drive from coast to coast,” he concluded.
