WINDSOR RESIDENT CELEBRATES $1,593,020 LOTTARIO JACKPOT WIN
TORONTO, ON – Denis Duperron of Windsor won “Ontario’s jackpot” – $1,593,020.70 in the November 8, 2025 LOTTARIO draw.
The 61-year-old said he plays the same set of numbers every time.
“I went to the convenience store, used the ticket checker, and discovered my win. I checked my ticket two or three times to be sure,” he shared while visiting the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to collect his windfall.
Denis revealed the incredible news to his brothers and sister. “They didn’t believe me at first,” he said with a chuckle.
Plans are already underway for Denis’s big win. He’s looking forward to sharing his winnings with family and purchasing a new car. “I’m a horse racing fan as well, and I’ve always wanted to buy a horse — now I can!” he concluded.
LOTTARIO launched in 1978 as Ontario’s first terminal lotto game. Tickets are $1 and the draws take place every Saturday. Tickets purchased before 11:59 p.m. on Fridays are eligible for the Early Bird draw. Visit the LOTTARIO page on OLG.ca for more information.
The winning ticket was purchased at Petro-Canada on Tecumseh Road West in Windsor.
